Working across 2 days (with a week between for drying time) gives us the opportunity to really explore the full range of materials that can be used when creating a collagraph plate.

 

The first day will be plate making, using organic materials, carborundum, glues, varnishes and fabric to create a highly textured printing surface.

The second session will be all about printing from these plates onto paper. We’ll explore different inking techniques to create a series of prints on paper.

 

All materials are included in the price. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
